Beyond production, our ambition is to contribute sustainably to the food security of the Democratic Republic of Congo, to create economic opportunities for local communities and to preserve the Congo Basin, one of the world's most important reservoirs of biodiversity and carbon sinks.

Our vision is coming to life on the ground. Through several strategically located sites in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Venus Agricole is developing an integrated agricultural model where each project responds to a specific objective, while contributing to the same ambition: to produce more, restore ecosystems, distribute quality local food and create sustainable economic opportunities.

Muzambala – Restoring and producing sustainably

Located in the Kwilu province, the Muzambala site illustrates our approach to large-scale agroforestry. More than 1,000 hectares are dedicated to planting acacia trees, reforestation and land restoration, while integrating the production of maize, cassava and soybeans.

These crops play a dual role: they contribute to strengthening national food security and directly supply our livestock farming, thus reducing our dependence on imported inputs. By combining agricultural production and ecosystem restoration, Muzambala demonstrates that it is possible to reconcile economic performance and environmental preservation.

Minkao – Supplying the Congolese market

In Minkao, on the outskirts of Kinshasa, Venus Agricole is developing an industrial-scale pig and poultry production hub to meet the growing demand of the capital.

Thanks to its proximity to one of Africa's largest urban markets, this site ensures a fast, reliable, and traceable supply of local agricultural products. Integrated into our value chain, it brings production closer to consumers and embodies our vision of a farm-to-table model, where quality, freshness, and control at every stage are central to our commitment.

Katenda – Developing sustainable livestock farming

Spanning nearly 2,000 hectares, the Katenda site combines cattle farming and agroforestry in a long-term approach.

By combining livestock production, sustainable land management, and reforestation, this project contributes to developing more resilient agriculture, strengthening national production capacities, and creating sustainable jobs in local communities. Katenda exemplifies our commitment to investing in agricultural models capable of meeting the economic, food, and environmental challenges of tomorrow.
