Venus Agricole cited in the UC-PIF 2025 Activity Report

We are proud to announce that Venus Agricole is included in the 2025 Activity Report of the Forest Investment Programme Coordination Unit (UC-PIF) ,

a reference document that traces the progress of the development of the carbon market and landscape restoration initiatives in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Our site in Monzabala , in the Kwilu province , is presented among the agricultural partners of the PIFORES program , supported by the World Bank , which supports the development of agroforestry and the restoration of savannas across several provinces of the country.

Recognition of our commitment

Being cited in this report represents much more than a simple mention.

This is the recognition of a vision we have held from the beginning: to demonstrate that it is possible to produce more while restoring the land, to develop efficient agriculture without compromising the resources on which future generations will depend.

In Monzabala, our acacia plantations are part of an agricultural model where agroforestry, food crops, and livestock farming complement each other. Each restored hectare not only helps strengthen ecosystems but also supports local agricultural production capable of meeting the growing needs of the Democratic Republic of Congo.

A national ambition

The report highlights the scale of the transformation currently underway in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Through the PIFORES program , more than 120,000 hectares of agroforestry plantations are planned across several provinces, alongside major savanna restoration and sustainable forest management programs. This initiative is a cornerstone of the national strategy to reconcile agricultural development, natural resource conservation, and the fight against climate change.

In this context, Venus Agricole is pleased to contribute, on its own scale, to this national dynamic.

Building the agriculture of tomorrow

The report also highlights the progress made by the Democratic Republic of Congo in structuring its carbon market, with the implementation of new regulatory and institutional mechanisms designed to support landscape restoration projects.

For Venus Agricole, this development confirms a deep conviction: the agriculture of tomorrow will have to produce more, restore more and demonstrate its impact with transparency.

That is why we are investing today in integrated agricultural models that combine reforestation, agroforestry, livestock farming, and food production. Our ambition goes beyond agricultural production. We want to participate in building an agricultural system capable of sustainably feeding the Congolese population while preserving one of the planet's most precious natural heritages: the Congo Basin.
